Having problems with message search?
This is short, but excellent--an easy read. One of my favorite poets, Maxine Kumin, wrote Inside the Halo and Beyond: The Anatomy of a Recovery. The book details her serious accident (she sustained a broken neck) while competing in driven dressage, and her struggle during recovery. I know this sounds depressing, but it really isn't--her story is extremely inspiring. This book is available on Half.com.
