| Notes: | Please come to the USDF convention for the education, networking, and celebration of dressage successes!! The convention/symposium web-site is http://www.usdf.org/convention/2008/. Each morning starts with a (voluntary) stretching session with Equi-Stretch (back by popular demand!). In fact, many educational sessions are geared toward helping the rider improve physical and mental preparation for dressage. The Delegate and Newcomer Orientation is Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Region 4 meetings will be held Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. and at 2:45 - 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Just prior to the Thursday regional meetings will be a forum on the USEF Performance Standards. The annually popular GMO Roundtable session will be from 9:15 - 10:45 a.m. on Thursday. The Board of Governors meeting (to be attended by all GM and PM delegates and anyone else who wishes) will be all day on Friday, like last year. Topics of discussion include a potential dues increase and possible governance changes. Your input is needed and valued! The symposium starts with a Friday evening lecture and then continues Saturday and Sunday at the National Western Complex for the riding sessions (and more shopping!). | |
