Please don't forget that Violet Hopkins funding is available through The Dressage Foundation (www.dressagefoundation.org) for GMOs. See note from Lynn Boomer (below) regarding how much other regions have used the funding compared to Region 4 this year.
Here is the information on how to get a Violet M. Hopkins grant from TDF --
Good luck! Keep those educational programs going!!

Subject: Violet M. Hopkins funding
Hi, Sarah,
Region 9 recently emailed us asking for a total number of region 9 GMOs
assisted with funding from TDF. I replied that of 12 GMOs in that
region, we have assisted with funding for 6 programs. I thought why not
total up the GMO numbers for the other regions. Region 4 submitted only
2 applications in 2007 -- both of which received funding help. This
number is quite low out of a field of 14 GMOs. Have you heard any feed
back from the GMO groups you have visited? I don't need a response
right away, I'm just in a 'wondering' mood today! Best.
Lynn
P.S. News of another funding program from TDF: We have 7 applications
from Adult Amateurs in Region 4 for training assistance from the Carol
Lavell Gifted Fund. This is a record number from Region 4 and the high.
The Selection Committee is hard at work now evaluating these
applications. We have our work cut out for us in the selection process.
John and I think you are doing a great job as Regional Director of
Region 4.
