Rod Clevenger, Denny Brentgarner, Chris Barry, John Julius and
myself, Scott Haas were there. A couple others ditched out because
of work at the last minute. The Bay Week event is Sunday through Wed
which makes it tough for people still working regular. Next year the
event might go back to a Sat through Monday race schedule.
Our last race around here of the season is held Sept 8,9 at Higgins
lake Michigan which is about 220 miles north of Toledo. Last year
there were about 12 Prodigys at the Higgins race.
As far as Nationals attendance from Midwest I don't have a count.
Most windsurfers around here won't make up their minds till like
about three or four weeks or so in advance. I didn't think I could
go but now my work calendar cleared out so now I'm thinking about
it. I know Nat Sidall said he was planning on going and his big
white van can hold three or four with equipment if he choses to
transport some people.
