The GMC I-LYA (Inter-Lake Yatching Assocation) Regatta
Five Toledo area Prodigy windsurfers attended and as last year we had a
really great time and plan to return again next year. We ran a total of
seven races on Mon and Wed with Tuesdays racing canceled for a lack of
wind. The Lake Erie islands are a beautiful place to sail and with 40
some crews on the big sailboats it made for a giant sized Captain
Morgan party of like 300 people. In this event the windsurf fleet gun
is 9am sharp with racing ending by noonish. Daily awards and Beer
Blast at 4:00pm sharp. Watch for some new plans next year as the event
might be hosting the Prodigy Great Lakes Championships!
