stolen bike

My bike was just stolen on Friday night. I had it
on my front veranda, right outside the front door,
and someone just came into my front yard and took it.
I must admit it wasn't locked up.

It pretty
much sucks. Its not the money, I'm sure its not worth
nearly as much as when I bought it, although I cant
afford to replace it with one the same at the moment.
Its more the fact that it was my transport and that
it was the bike that I rode halfway around the
country on. And someone has taken it and most probably
pawned it for about $50 to go towards thier next
hit.

As it happens, I bought an old single speed clunker
a couple of weeks ago for about $20. It was meant
as a spare bike for visitors to use. But, now its my
main ride.

I was also planning to do a bit of a
tour in my next holidays (in July), but I guess thats
out of the question now.

Anyway, I just had to
spill my guts about that.

Keep an eye on your
vehicle of the revolution,

Ben
