To be honest, I'm just starting to get back into
riding. When I was in the Coast Guard we spent a few
months in the shipyard in Bellingham, WA and I rode most
every day from the motel to the ship.
After we got
home, I put my bike up and started driving again.
Back on topic, I rode to the main road that runs past
my job today and back, amounting to a little more
than halfway, and the worst part of my 5.5 mile
commute. It looks promising so far, so I'll probably do a
dry run on Sunday and go for the real deal next
week.
I'll keep you posted on my progress.
Don

any suggestions on how to repair a crankarm that the pedal has worn the threads out of. My 15-20 year old peugeot road bike dropped a pedal on me today going...
I could only suggest re-threading it. However, if you do need to replace the crank, check to see if you have a bicycle recycler in your area. It will be a ...
I hadn't thought about looking for a recycler. I've been watching for "junk" bikes on trash day next to the curb but hadn't seen any yet. The problem with...
Yes Don, A recycler sounds good. Or maybe a nice neighborhood shop would be able to help with a used crank set or a single crank. I USED to have a shop like ...

Greetings. I live in an area with very limited bike paths and plan to organize locally to lobby for better ones. If anyone has experience doing that, I'd like...
My bike was just stolen on Friday night. I had it on my front veranda, right outside the front door, and someone just came into my front yard and took it. I...
