Accountability: Motivating Employees to be Accountable

Good morning, good morning to all supervisors, managers, church and industry

leaders! Yesterday we encouraged your employees to be responsible workers. But as a

manager, how can you better motivate your employees to be accountable for their

actions? There are some managers who closely check the behavior and work of their

employees. Kaya may mga opisina na may electronic surveillance equipment tulad

ng closed-circuit TV. Ang mga smaller companies naman which can't afford a camera,

o kung saan impractical namang maglagay ng mga camera sa bawat sulok ng ng

opisina, may mga "spy" ika nga. But is this strategy effective? Studies have shown that

close monitoring of employees only drives them more to hide and less likely to ask for

help for fear of being seen as incompetent.

To make employees accountable for their actions, accountability must be part of the

workplace culture. Accountability must be an important element of the company's value system. Kailangang ipaalam natin sa ating mga empleyado na ang pagiging

accountable sa ating mga kilos at gawa ay isang positibong bagay.

We should remind our employees that they are accountable for their mistakes.

Ang taong nagkamali ang siyang dapat managot sa kanyang pagkakamali. Discourage

blaming and passing the buck. Refusing to accept responsibility for a mistake,

accident and important decision and passing it instead to someone else is like lying

already.

Encourage your employees to admit or report their mistakes the soonest time

possible. Kung maire-report agad ang isang pagkakamali, mas malaki ang tsansang

magawan ito agad ng solusyon. Convince also your employees that admitting their

mistake is a demonstration of other admirable qualities, like honesty and humility.

Hindi natin kinukunsinti ang kanilang pagkakamali, but we are commending their

honesty and humility in admitting their mistake.

Praise your employees for dealing successfully with their failures. Accountability

means not just ownership of your actions, but it also means willingness to repair the

damage that has been done. Challenge your workers to correct their mistakes. If they

can not do it on their own, they must be given support by others. At kapag naayos

nila ang nagawa nilang mali, purihin natin sila. We can make them an example so

that others will be accountable too. This way, people will be encouraged to ask for

help not only after they've made a mistake, but even while they're still encountering a

difficult or potential problem.

Instituting teamwork is also another way to motivate your workers to be

accountable. Kapag mas maraming tao ang involved sa isang project, mababawasan

ang pagkakataon ng isang tao na magtago ng kanyang kapalpakan. Mas madali ring

maso-solve ang problem because there are many minds collaborating. If the team

members feel responsible for the project, they are likely to finish the project.

Magandang umaga sa ating mga tagapakinig na manggagawa! Sa mga karterong

maghahatid ng mga sulat, sa mga med reps na bibisita sa mga hospitals and clinics, sa

mga merchandizers na magdidisplay ng kanilang mga produkto sa grocery shelves, at

sa mga clerks na maghapong haharap sa santambak na paperworks. Simulan natin ang

araw na ito nang may ngiti sa labi at determinsayong magtrabaho.

Yes, there may be people and situations in your workplace that make it difficult for you to work. Pero gaano man kahirap ang iyong sitwasyon, may habilin sa atin ang Efeso 6:5-8: Mga alipin, sundin ninyo ang inyong mga panginoon dito sa lupa nang buong galang , takot at katapatan na parang si Cristo ang inyong pinaglilingkuran. May nakakakita man o

wala, ganyan ang gawin ninyo, hindi upang magbigay-lugod sa mga tao kundi dahil sa

kayo'y lingkod ni Cristo at kusang-loob na gumaganap ng kalooban ng Diyos.

Maglingkod kayo ng may mabuting kalooban na parang sa Panginoon kayo naglilingkod

at hindi sa mga tao lamang. sapagkat alam ninyong gagantihin ng Panginoon ang

bawat mabubuting gawa ninuman, alipin man o malaya. So based on that Scripture,

here are tips on how you can be a responsible worker, a worker who is accountable to

his employer:

First, keep in mind that you are serving Christ. Ano man ang iyong trabaho at sino

man ang iyong pinagtatrabahuhan, tandaan mo na si Cristo ang iyong pinaglilingkuran.

Ang Diyos ang nagbigay sa iyo ng iyong trabaho. Gumamit lamang Siya ng mga human

instruments tulad ng iyong amo para magkaroon ka ng trabaho. Kaya ipakita mong

kinikilala mo ngang Panginoon si JesuCristo sa pamamagitan ng iyong work attitude.

Speaking of attitude, our second tip tells us the right attitude: obey those who are

over you with respect. Maaaring sinusunod mo nga ang lahat ng SOP, memo at rules

and regulations ng inyong kumpanya, pero sa loob-loob mo, panay naman ang maktol

mo. O di kaya nilalagyan mo ng sungay ang picture ng iyong boss. You are not obeying

with respect. Although we may not agree with our employers all the time, or although

they may not be pleasant most of the time, we should still treat them with respect. Remember, sa Diyos tayo unang aaccountable kung paano natin tratuhin ang ating

amo. And God commands us to obey our earthly masters with respect so we can have

a good employer-employee relationship.

Third, do your best even when the boss is not around. Kahit wala ang iyong bisor, o

kahit walang sipsip na magsusumbong o closed-circuit TV na magrerecord ng bawat

kilos mo, dapat gampanan mo pa rin ang iyong tungkulin ng buong puso. Sipagan mo

lalo. Magsipag ka dahil una, pinaglilingkuran mo ang Diyos; pangalawa, ginagawa mo

yun for the good of the company and your clients; at pangatlo, para lalo kang maging

mahusay at mapagkakatiwalaang empleyado.

Fourth and finally, remember that the Lord will pay you for each good thing you

do. God will make sure you are recognized and compensated for your work. Pero higit

sa lahat we should look forward to that day when God will say to us, "Well done, good

and faithful servant."

October 2008 FISHERIES TECHNOLOGIST LICENSURE EXAMINATION RESULTS released in four (4) working days
October 28, 2008

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 65 out of 171 passed the Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Fisheries in Manila, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this October 2008.

The members of the Board of Fisheries are Rogelio O. Juliano, Chairman; Cesario R. Pagdilao and Catalino R. Dela Cruz, Members.

The results were released in four (4) working days after the last day of examination.

Thirty three (33) applicants were approved for registration without examination as Fisheries Technologists.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, November 3, 2008 but not later than November 21, 2008. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2008-2011, and to pay the Examination Fee of P900 for applicants for registration without examination. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional and those who registered without examination will be held before the Board on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.

1 . Tip from Tae Kwon Do :
The elbow is the strongest point
on your body.
If you are close enough to use it, do!

2. Learned this from a tourist guide
in New Orleans
If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse,
DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM.
Toss it away from you....
chances are that he is more interested
in your wallet and/or purse than you,
and he will go for the wallet/purse.
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car,
kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole
and start waving like crazy.
The driver won't see you, but everybody else will.
This has saved lives.

4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars
after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit
(doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc.
DON'T DO THIS!)
The predator will be watching you, and this
is the perfect opportunity for him to get in
on the passenger side, put a gun to your head,
and tell you where to go.
AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR ,
LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.

If someone
is in the car
with a gun
to your head
DO NOT DRIVE OFF,
repeat:
DO NOT DRIVE OFF!
Instead gun the engine
and speed into anything, wrecking the car.
Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is in the back seat
they will get the worst of it
As soon as the car crashes
bail out and run.
It is better than having them find your body
in a remote location.

5 . A few notes about getting
into your car in a parking lot,
or parking garage:
A.) Be aware:
look around you,
look into your car,
at the passenger side floor ,
and in the back seat
B.) If you are parked next to a big van,
enter your car from the passenger door.
Most serial killers attack their victims
by pulling them into their vans while the women
are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car
parked on the driver's side of your vehicle,
and the passenger side.. If a male is sitting alone
in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back
into the mall, or work, and get a
guard/policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator

instead of the stairs.
(Stairwells are horrible places to be alone
and the perfect crime spot.
This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. If the predator has a gun
and you are not under his control,
ALWAYS R UN!
The predator will only hit you (a running target)
4 in 100 times; And even then,
it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ.
RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8. As women, we are always trying
to be sympathetic:
STOP
It may get you raped, or killed.
Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking,
well educated man, who ALWAYS played
on the sympathies of unsuspecting women.
He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often
asked " for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle,
which is when he abducted
his next victim.

9. Another Safety Point:

Someone just told me that her friend heard
a crying baby on her porch the night before last,
and she called the police because it was late
and she thought it was weird. The police told her
"Whatever you do, DO NOT
open the door."
The lady then said that it sounded like the baby
had crawled near a window, and she was worried
that it would crawl to the street and get run over.
The policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way,
whatever you do, DO NOT open the door."
He told her that they think a serial killer
has a baby's cry r ecorded and uses it to coax
women out of their homes thinking that someone
dropped off a baby He said they have not verified it,
but have had several calls by women saying that
they hear baby's cries outside their doors
when they're home alone at night.

Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door
for a crying baby ----
This e-mail should probably be taken seriously because
the Crying Baby theory was mentioned on
America 's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled
the serial killer in Louisiana

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know.
It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle.

I was going to send this to the ladies only,
but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc.,
you may want to pass it onto them, as well.

Proverbs 1:20-33

20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street,
she raises her voice in the public squares;

22 "How long will you simple ones ^[d] love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery

471 is Made in Taiwan .

This is our human right to know, but the government and related department never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products "made in china", so they don't show from which country it is made.
However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is:

4John's clothes were made of camel's hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. 5People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan. 6Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. 9And do not think you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 10The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
11"I baptize you with^[b] water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 12His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

The Birth of Jesus Christ

Matthew 1:18-25

18This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. 19Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,^[a] because he will save his people from their sins."

22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"^[b]—which means, "God with us."

24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .....she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening

Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die.... they end up in a helpless,
hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this...

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally . He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting
the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S * Ask the individual to SMILE.

T * Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. It is sunny out today)

R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 999/911 immediately and describe the
symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other , that is also an indication of a stroke.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

It seems only MALES are afflicted with this.
We had a co-staff/driver from FAO who died last month from supposedly BANGUNGOT-- leaving a housewife and 3 very young kids.

It is therefore advisable for a person to take several glasses of water before bedtime if he had a few or several alcoholic drinks.
Avoid eating noodles before bedtime, but if you can not avoid it, all ow at least two hours for the body to digest the noodles before
hitting the sack and drink plenty of water.

The most important thing is, never go thirsty when going to bed and be sure you have plenty of water during your 8-hour rest.

The result is- the earthquake was happened at 07:58am 26^th Dec. More than 200000 people dead, the biggest tsunami was about 30 meters, a lot people were dead by the tsunami. He also sent the same letter to Indonesia , Philippine, Thailand and other Embassies. He also got the thanks letter from these countries.

The thanks letter from Meigawadi said �� about the 2004 earthquake and tsunami, to prevent the disaster, we must do a lot of things, but in another hand, we can do nothing��. The thanks letter from Indonesia Embassy said ��K..we will send this letter to our government, if you have any update information, please let us know��.

From above information, Juseleeno already predicted that there will be more than 200000 people die in the tsunami and earthquake 8 years before the disaster, he sent the warning letter with detail date on to these countries, but nobody did any preventive measures.

As above said, in 2008, China will get 9.1 earthquake and more than millions people will die, according to Mr. Juseleeno��s prediction that the earth quake will be 13^th September,2008, and Olympic will hold on 8^th August-24^th, In this schedule, the earthquake will happen after Olympic, but before the big earthquake, there will be a lot of small earthquake, it will make the country and people upset.
There will be a lot of small earthquake before the big one, although Juseleeno didn��t predict the exact date, but if we presume the small earthquake will happen one or two month before and it may be the period of Olympic, if so it may make the host and athletes give up. When the writer read this prophesy from Juseleeno, he suddenly remember the space time traveler John Titoer��s last word �� 2004 Athens Olympic Game will be last one��

But, if the earthquake is in the south of China , Nanning and Hai Nan, and there are no Olympic games, the Beijing Olympic Game will close successfully. But the problem is that China government is only care about the reputation and successfully of the Olympic game, ignore the small earthquakes, and no preparation before the big one. Mr. Juseleeno also predicted that glacier period is coming.

He also has the right prophesy for the weather, one of them is, in 2003, Europe got high temperature, 29^th October, 2001, the warning letter said �� the nature world will beat back to the world, the temperature of France, Germany and Portugal will become higher, more than ten thousand people will die, this disaster will happen between 2003 and 2004�� . the truth is, the temperature in the summer of 2003 had reached the highest one which they��ve never had in Europe, about 35.000 people dead, especially France and Germany , about 14,000 people dead in France and 7000 people dead in Germany .

From Mr.Juseleeno�� s prophesy, the earth temperature will get higher every year, till 2012, the temperature in Africa will reach 58 degrees and the same time will have serious water problem, after the temperature will be even higher, till 2015, the average temperature of earth will reach 59 degrees, a lot of people will die, the human will get frighten all over the world. If this is the truth, the countries will against each other because of the aridity and not enough food, Mr. Jeseleeno also predicted that there will be some new wars because of the aridity, but he didn��t have clear prophesy, but he felt it won��t be the normal war.

Anyway, the temperature is getting higher is not like the aerography said ( the speed is very slow), actually very quick. We have do start from ourselves, one people��s power is small but if we put everyone��s power together, It will be strong to change the future disaster.

UP students pedal their way to the future

ON HER WAY TO CLASS LAST summer on the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman, Quezon City, Michiko Alcanzare's attention was caught by the colorful wheel disks of a bicycle parked on the grounds of Palma Hall.
Curious, the Physics student approached the bike and saw the words "padyak.org" written on the wheel disks.

"I thought the design was really cool. I had a feeling that it was some kind of a bike-for-rent scheme," she said.

When she logged onto the Internet to check the web site, Alcanzare found out that padyak.org was a recently launched project offering bikes as an alternative mode of transportation for UP students.

She signed on a few days later and became one of 16 students who participated in the project's test run last April.

Dr. Filomin Gutierrez, an associate professor of the UP Department of Sociology and a former UP Mountaineer (UPM), said she and other ex-UPM members came up with the idea for the project during a reunion last December.

"We were drinking then at a post-Christmas party when a fellow UPM alumnus, Louie Cruz, suggested that we should start a bike-for-rent project as our contribution to the UP centennial anniversary," she recalled.

"He was actually emotional when he said that it would be our legacy to the university," Gutierrez said with a laugh.

"We thought the project was also a good way to mark our 20th anniversary as UPM members," she added.

The group met a few days later to discuss the project details, this time, without downing any intoxicating beverages.

From the start, Gutierrez said they knew they were faced with a daunting task: Raising funds for the project which they aptly named "UP Padyak."

After a few more meetings with other UPM members, the group was able to collect enough money for them to buy two reconditioned bicycles at a warehouse in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Later on, as more contributions came in, they were able to purchase 14 more bicycles�single-speed bikes from Japan with utility baskets mounted on the handlebars where students could place their bags and other belongings.

What makes Padyak's bikes unique are the colorful designs on the wheel disks. Among those who designed the disks were Robert Alejandro and Ninoy Leyran. Renowned sculptor Eng Chan, meanwhile, designed a bike rack called "Lapis."

The colorful disks�made of sintra boards�also carry slogans and messages about protecting the environment.

"The disks also contribute to the safety of the bikes," Gutierrez said.

The group's next task was to solicit the help of UP officials in designating a bike lane in the campus and the installation of bike racks in some of the colleges. They also asked the UP Security Brigade for help in guarding the bikes.

Aside from offering students an alternative transportation, the bike-for-rent project also promotes a healthy lifestyle and concern for the environment, Gutierrez said.

According to her, "While the whole world reels from skyrocketing prices of fuels, bikes offer us respite from rising fare costs, traffic and pollution."

For just P500, students enrolled in any course in UP Diliman can rent a bike and use it for the whole semester. They also get a chain lock free of charge.

Gutierrez said interested students may go to their website, www.padyak.org, to fill up an application form.

Barely three months after the program launching, UP students have already warmed up to the idea of going around the campus on bikes, she added.

At present, the group has already rented out all of its 40 bicycles while around 100 students are on the wait list.

"We are really surprised by how this project was received by the students. Our website is swamped by applications of students," she said.

She added that they have turned away several companies which have offered to sponsor the program.

"This was never meant to make money but to demonstrate that anything is possible if people come together," she stressed.

Gutierrez said that although they have the money, they decided not to purchase additional bikes just now as they have yet to install bike racks in other buildings on the campus.

The group only has two bike stations�both located in Palma Hall.

Gutierrez, meanwhile, expressed hope that other universities and communities would adopt the bike project and implement it on their own campuses.

HOW GREAT LEADERS RECOGNIZE A PROBLEM

Can you recognize a problem before it becomes an emergency? According to
John Maxwell in his book Developing the Leader Within You, great leaders
usually recognize a problem in the following sequence:

They sense it before they see it - that is what you call intuition. Hindi pa man nangyayari medyo kinukutuban na, mayroong gut feel and they pay attention to their gut feel.
They begin looking for it and they ask questions - yan ang curiosity.

They share their feelings and findings to a few trusted colleagues - that is what you call communicating.
They define the problem and they do not just verbalize it, they write it.
They check their resources and that is evaluating.
They make a decision - that is leading.

Under the leadership of great men and women, problems do not reach their gigantic proportions. Bakit? Dahil sa early stages pa lamang ng problema,
nadedetect na kaagad ito at naaksyunan. Ang sabi nga ni John Maxwell, �Great leaders are seldom blindsided. They realize that the punch that knocks them out is seldom the hard one. It is the one they did not see coming.� Therefore, it is always important to look for signs and indicators that will give you insight into the problem ahead.

Hindi mawawala ang mga problema na kakaharapin ng mga leaders. Hindi mawawala ang mga problema na kakaharapin mo sa opisina, pero hindi ka kailangang mabulaga. Before a problem gets big, nagsisimula muna iyan sa maliliit na hakbang.

These past few days I have been reading the book by Larry Burkett �Business by the Book� and I also attended the seminar that Christ at Work Philippines conducted wherein they launched this book. If we are looking for managers, ano ba iyong mga katangian na dapat hanapin natin sa mga taong ito. What are some of the legally allowable criteria for managers.

Ang sabi ni Larry Burkett most of them involve visible aspects of a person�s lifestyle. You do not just look at the competence of the person or what the person can do, merong mga very personal characteristics that we should look for. Look for managers who meet the minimum standards established for leaders spelled out by the apostle Paul and we can find this in 1Tim 3:1-3. Although ang description para dito ay para sa mga overseers especially an overseer in the church but in reality hindi ba ang mga managers ay overseers din. With the exception of the requirement about marriage, the standards given by Paul could just as easily apply to any decision-level manager.

Ano ba ang sabi sa 1Tim 3:1-3, �If any man aspires to the office of overseers, it is a fine work he desires to do. An overseer then must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine but gentle, uncontentious and free from the love of money.

Larry Burkett narrowed the characteristics into three and here are important lifestyle traits to look for in a manager.

Temperance or being temperate. A temperate person is not given to wide
emotional swings. May pagtitimpi, hindi napakamoody. Nothing is more
disruptive to the everyday activity of a company than a manager who is up on day and down the next. Your best most productive employees are generally those with the supportive personality. Mahirap ang unpredictable na manager because they will make people nervous around them and they will lower employee�s capacity to produce. So, you need a temperate manager.

Prudence. Webster�s dictionary defines it as one who exercises good judgment. No law prohibits you from using the standard for selecting managers. The difficulty comes in devising a method to test a perspective manager�s prudence. Maaaring sa mga situational questions naibigay habang iniinterview ang isang prospective manager, maaaring magaganda at tama lahat ang kanyang maging sagot pero ang good judgment talagang makikita lamang natin when a person or a manager is faced various difficulties.

Respectability. Being respectable means displaying appropriate conduct or
mannerisms. Managers who are known as drunkards or liars elicit no respect
from those around them. Subordinates do not seek out their advice in counsel
because they do not respect them. Kaya kinakailangan a manager who would be
respected by people.

Ano nga uli ang mga katangian na dapat makita natin sa isang manager? This person should be temperate, prudent and respectable. Sa tatlong checklist na iyan ilan ba ang totoo sa atin? Pasado kaya tayo?
