SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Department/Division: : Ayala Foundation - USA (AFUSA) / Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location: : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job:
The position directly reports to the Manager - AFUSA, and is tasked to assist in the partner relations, logistical and administrative functions of Ayala Foundation - USA. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:

Screen and process Grant Eligibility Applications and make recommendations (of approval or no approval) to the CSD Director or AFUSA Manager

Process release of funds to local recipients
-
Track potential recipients for cases of donor initiated donations
-
Inform partners of donations received
-
Gather reports from partner recipients
-
Do capability-building activities for partner organizations
-
Do research and draft GILAS proposals for US-based funders
-
Maintain database of partners, mailing lists and other contacts
-
Maintain the filing system i.e. individual partner files, active correspondences, transmittal letters, etc.
-
Do administrative and logistical tasks for the unit i.e. prepare events, request for supplies, transportation, etc.

Lend support in the following:
-
Recruitment of Philippine partner organizations
-
Coordination and liaison work with partner groups
-
Active campaigning to recruit more schools, colleges, and universities
-
Campaign activities for GILAS and other special projects
-

Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Graduate of Developmental Studies, Social Sciences, or other related field, with at least two years work experience
- With above-average computer skills, specifically MS Office
- Open to multi-tasking and task-sharing, people oriented and pleasant.
IT ASSOCIATE
Department/Division : Gearing-up Internet Literacy and Access for Students (GILAS) / Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job:
The position directly reports to the Manager - GILAS. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:

Coordinate with the schools on schedules of validation visits, delivery of equipment, set up of laboratory, installation of phone/Internet by Telecommunication Companies (telcos)
-
Assist and/or conduct project orientation
-
Conduct schools validation visit, assess and recommends approval/disapproval of schools
-
Prepares requisitions of equipment and coordinates with supplier on the delivery of equipment
-
Coordinate with the local field offices of telcos on the installation of phones/Internet
-
Coordinate with project partners such as DepEd, telcos, academe, volunteers, and other organizations helping in the connectivity of public high schools
-
Draft reports related to GILAS operations
-
Maintain the database of GILAS-Operations Team (e.g. running list of connected schools, status of schools)
-
Provide technical support to schools through monitoring, coaching, and helpdesk
-
Conduct GILAS Training to schools
-
Set up computer laboratory in the school
-
Perform other functions that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
- College graduate in any IT related course
- Hardworking, organized and is a team player
- Good coordination, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in computer networking, network administration, hardware, software, Internet and database
- With skills in training
DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
Department/Division : Solid Waste Management (SWM) Program / Center for Social Development (CSD)
Location : AFI BPI Office
Description of the Job:
The position directly reports to the Manager - SWM. Specifically, the job holder will perform the following tasks:

Develop Information Education Communication (IEC) materials for the GREEN Program
-
Manage advocacy campaign of networking activities
-
Supervise and document Ayala Recyclables Fair and other special events: Earth Day, Environment Month, etc.

Prepare monthly/annual progress reports
-
Prepare communication materials: letters, news articles, collaterals, etc.
-
Provide technical support to Ayala Social Initiatives
- College graduate major in Social Sciences/Environment
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Has skills in conceptualization and designing of IEC materials
- Adequate skills in coordination and monitoring of activities, networking and research
- An advocate of the environment
- Eager to learn, results-oriented, people-oriented, honest and committed
