Would you like your office to be a fun place to work in? Kung ang sagot ninyo ay oo, sundin ang aking payo. Be a person of grace. How to be a graceful co-worker. Meron akong 5 ibabahagi sa inyo. Just remember the word “grace.” How do we become graceful people in the office? Pag sinabing graceful, hindi lang iyong graceful sa pagsasayaw o kaya graceful maglakad kung hindi paano tayo magiging isang people person. How can we get along well with other people especially our co-workers?

Glorify God by doing the right thing. Ang paalala sa atin ni apostle Paul sa 1 Cor 10 – “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, bahagi ng whatever you do ang ating mga trabaho, do it all for the glory of God.” Glorify God by doing the right thing. Sa mga ginagawa ba natin o hindi natin ginagawa sa opisina, are we able to glorify God?

Read the Bible which is your time-tested guide on good manners. Maraming beses na nakapagbahagi na ako sa inyo ng mga tips on etiquette lalo na iyong mga ibinabahagi ko from the book The Etiquette Advantage. Pero alam nyo ba ang pinakamagandang reference material na pwede nating gamitin sa ating buhay at trabaho ay walang iba kung hindi ang Bibliya. Psalm 119:105 has this to say about the word of God - “Your word is the lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Kapag meron tayong mga hindi sigurado, mga desisyon o kaya plano na kailangan nating gawin, by all means consult experts, consult people who can help you make good decisions at huwag din nating kaliligtaan na kunsultahin ang Diyos dahil hindi naman siya nagkakamali. Read His word and ask Him for wisdom. Read the Bible which is your time-tested guide on good manners.

Always be considerate of others. That is a foundational principle in good manners and right conduct. Dapat meron tayong pakialam at malasakit sa ibang tao. Ano ang sabi sa 1 Cor 10:32 – “Do not cause anyone to stumble.” Sa lahat ng ating gagawin, let us always bear in mind that our actions and our decisions will affect other people kaya kinakailangan we are always considerate of others.

Carry yourself with confidence and that confidence should be anchored on Christ. Saan manggagaling ang confidence natin? Siyempre kung competent tayo sa isang bagay, tumataas din ang ating level of confidence pero paano kung hindi na tayo competent doon, apektado pa rin ba ang confidence natin. Here is the secret to carrying ourselves with confidence at all times. Ang sabi sa Phil 4:13 – “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” If Christ is our leader, if Christ is our source of strength, we will always be confident because Christ will never let you down.

Exercise what you heard and learned. Every day is an opportunity for us to learn new things. Kung gagawin natin yung “R” sa grace - read the Bible which is your time-tested guide on good manner. Even if you read a hundred times kung hindi naman natin matututunan at kung hindi natin gagawin bale wala pa rin. So exercise what you heard and learned.
