One possibility here, is that our clubs could field mens teams, while
the womens' team(s) are less club oriented, perhaps more like what we
saw for Aus mixed nats.

I'm still not a fan of selecting an official NZ rep team for an
non-international event. I think interested players should be able to
get themselves there without much UPC intervention/control.
