im soooo mad i missed the game on sat.!!!i had a vball party!i know

Hey Everyone! Guess what?? My Birthday is on Tuesday Feb. 26th. I'm going to be
20 yrs. old. :) I am very excited!!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! I don't like this holiday, but i hope that
everyone else has had a great day. Anyone going to the Mavs home game this
weekend???

Friday night was horrible. First the Huskers lose
and now the mavs get blown out. The only good thing I
saw was how Brian Haaland did pretty good in net. He
made some great saves. And i liked Greg Zanon saving
the open net shot. Saturday we seemed more alive. We
needed to get something good out of this weekend. We
played great defense. Except for when Lampan gave it up
right in front of the net. Hats of to Brisson and
Hoggan. I thought Brisson would get the hat trick. And
Hoggan made a sweet goal on Brown after stealing it.
Ferris State knew they were gonna lose so they started
picking fights and taking cheap shots. Especially the one
on Hoggan. Maybe Chris Kunitz and Rob Collins could
of done better if they weren't in the box
practically the whole game.

Josh Blackburn is a good goalie, but we should have got a goal there. We were
just having a bad night. This week against Ferris State we finally got some pp
goals

their streak of 27 straight no goal on power plays, is a school rechord. they r
7 of 64

That was a tough loss Saturday. Especially with
Jed Ortmeyer playing so good. Will bounce back
though. We just need to keep playing tough and getting
shots on goal, especially on the power-plays, and we
should roll through the next 3 series with Ferris
St,Bowling Green, and Alaska-FB. Man does anybody ever post
anything in here. The last one before this was from last
year.

The Mavs are gonna win the CCHA champiship then the national champiship

Great game tonight! Pretty good illustration of
why you play all three periods of a hockey game. UNO
sucked that second period but tremendous heart to come
back in the third.<br><br>All things being equal it
was one of the best games I have seen.

I could not help but remind my bosses about the
recent UNO 5-1 thrashing of Ohio State. My manager and
assistant manager are both from Ohio; they love to brag
about Buckeyes this and Buckeyes that. It feels good to
give them a playful in-your-face comment about getting
downed by a school whose other sports are in Division
II<br><br>GO MAVS!

I did happen to like the new look of the UNO team
in these new jersey's. I like the silver coming out
in them.<br>Anyways, I don't recall the Lancers
switching their jersey's every year! YES, they do have new
jersey's this year, but it has been awhile since a change

Mavs, good job on hosting the first Stampede. The Mavs did you guys proud and
hope to see the Mavs and Eagles matchup again in the future.

Most of the time, I don't like the change from
the original uniforms. My team, BC will have new
uniforms this year too. I'd rather they go back to the
uniforms of the early 90's on their home
uniforms.<br><br>I'm sort of curious to what the new ones will look
like on teams changing their jerseys this year.

Okay, I was just at the Maverick Stampede game tonight and I noticed that the
Mavs had different unfiorms.  Are these the new set uniforms for the season or
is just for the Stampede?

It's finally here.  The moment we've been waiting for since it was announced
earlier this summer.  The Maverick Stampede!  About time.  Should be a good
tournament.  Go Mavs!!!

I am beginning to hate the off-season. No hockey.
No matchups to compare. No injury updates. No ref
controversies. No goal scoring. Too hot. Baseball taking center
stage. No fans to get in tune with. No nothing. I wish

jersey. I know he dont play for the Lancers anymore, but
I got it as a Christmas gift after he left. I would

I just rolled back into town and I cannot believe
that there are no comments on the Mav's win last
Friday night. Let me start. Congratulations UNO on a
stunning finish to the year! I can't wait to see what the
next few recruiting classes produce with the success
of last years class and the success of the program
in it's first three years. The game over Bowling
Green last Tuesday was also one of the most exciting
sporting events I have witnessed, and that may just
include Nebraska-Missouri football game in 1997. Anybody
agree with that?

If we beat U-M we are in the CCHA final game

The mavs are 1-1 in play-offs this seares. A win will mean we play Noter Dame.
Agenst Noter Dame we are 2-1-1
