he'll<br>play for the Lancers or practice with UNO I
don't<br>know.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Reasons he'll redshirt:&lt;br&gt;1)Coaches
have
constantly said<br>Hot Rod McLeod is the Mavs best
Goaltender in<br>practice, if that translates on the ice
he'll be a force to<br>be reckoned with. Plus Sidoruk
is a senior and he<br>should get a lot of playing
time. That means Jason would<br>get at most spot
starts, and that's not enough to<br>waste a year of
eligibility.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;2)Sid is a Senior,<br>Hot Rod is a Soph, and
Jason is a
Freshman. If he<br>sits out, that means he'll have 4 years
of eligibility<br>left, 2 with Hot Rod and 2 with
the next recruit. If he<br>doesn't redshirt, he's got
2 years behind Rodney and only<br>1 in front of the
next recruit.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;3)They could<br>have
used Rodney this year, especially when Mitchell<br>and
Sid were slumping early in the season, but
they<br>held him out for hte good of hte team's future.
The<br>same applies to Jason this coming season.
