Tonight's Hockey Game vs. Miami Postponed Until Sunday
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team's game
against Miami University tonight (Friday, Jan. 9) has been postponed
until Sunday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m. Yost Ice Arena suffered
weather-related damage during the recent snow and wind storms over the
holidays. U-M is working with independent structural engineers to
make repairs.
"We apologize for this inconvenience, but the safety of our fans is of
the utmost importance," said Executive Associate Athletic Director
Mike Stevenson.
Tickets from tonight's game will be honored at Sunday's rescheduled
contest. Refunds will be given to ticket holders who are unable to
attend the postponed game. Further information will be released by the
athletic department regarding the refund procedure.
