Quick update...
Michigan 6, Minnesota 3
Struggling #15 Michigan went to Minneapolis and stunned the hometown
crowd by jumping out to a 4-0 lead over the #1 ranked Minnesota
Gophers en route to a 6-3 upset victory.
Carl Hagelin and David Wohlberg each scored a pair of goals, with
Brandon Naurato and Louie Caporusso adding the others. Head coach Red
Berenson also mixed things up in net tonight by starting Bryan Hogan,
who finished with 22 saves.
If you were unable to watch the game tonight, I kept a live blog on
MHNet that you can read through.
The Wolverines will travel to Madison tomorrow night to face
Wisconsin. The Badgers downed struggling Michigan State, 3-1, and out
shot the Spartans 53-12 (!).

KAMPFER BACK ON THE ICE
------------------
According to the Michigan Daily a few days ago, Steve Kampfer is back
on the ice skating alone before practice. He has made remarkable
progress since his incident a month and a half ago.
Kampfer said in a recent interview that doctors expect him to be at
full strength in about a month, but it's up to Berenson on when he'll
return to the ice.
"Coach told me: ?Until I feel you are 100 percent, you?re not going to
touch the ice,?" Kampfer said. "It?s the coach?s call of when he
feels I?m ready. I feel I?m capable of playing, but I know I?m not
ready."

That's all for now...
