Michigan 5, LSSU 1

Lake Superior State scored the opening goal, but Michigan responded
with five straight to sink the Lakers, 5-1.

Max Pacioretty, Kevin Porter, and Travis Turnbull each scored in the
second period, then Porter and Aaron Palushaj scored in the third.

Junior goalie Billy Sauer turned aside 24 shots.

The weekend series wraps up tomorrow night.

CAPORUSSO SIDELINED

If you haven't heard by now, freshman center Louie Caporusso suffered
a knee injury during practice Tuesday and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

WOLV-TV BROADCASTS

I was informed that WOLV-TV, who web streamed the last home game
against Alaska, will be broadcasting all home games that haven't been
picked up by the major networks.

That means the games against Bowling Green, Team USA, Western
Michigan, and Northern Michigan will be available online. Check out
