BAILEY BOLT

Sophomore forward Jason Bailey has bolted the Michigan hockey team and
signed with the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League.

Playing primarily as a third line checker, Bailey had zero points in
19 games and sported a team worst -11 rating.

Bailey was known for his physical game on the ice, and his loss adds
to the depth woes for the Wolverines.

INJURY UPDATE

Defenseman Jack Johnson, who left the game at Western Michigan with a
shoulder injury a few weeks ago, will be playing at the World Junior
Championship.

Defenseman Jason Dest, who also left the WMU game with a shoulder
injury, is expected to play at the Great Lakes Invitational.

Defenseman Steve Kampfer, who separated his shoulder against Notre
Dame, is out for a month, meaning he will miss the GLI.
