The Mel Pearson Show
Once again Red is out of town, this time on the recruiting trail
since the Wolverines have a bye week, so associate head coach Mel Pearson
sits behind the mic. T.J. Hensick also stops by to chat.
Listen to the show at MHNet.
Wife Swap
I received an e-mail from Kirstin Dodich from RDF Media. They
do the casting for ABC's reality show Wife Swap. They are looking
for a family of serious hockey fans for an upcoming season. Not
just watching it on TV, but attends games and maybe even plays
hockey. "Everyone in the family should love hockey!" she
says.
The premise of the show is to take two very different families and switch
the mom's for a week. Each family should consist of two parents and
at least one child over the age of five and should reside in the
continental U.S.
Each family that tapes an episode of Wife Swap receives a $20,000
honorarium.
If you are interested in this opportunity, contact Kirstin at
kirstin.dodich@... or call her at (212) 404-1418, and also mention
my name and U-M Hockey Newsletter where you heard it from.
Early Signing Period
This week is the early signing period for hockey recruits.
U-M's current list for 2006 includes forward Brian Lebler, defensemen
Chris Summers and Steve Kampfer, and goalie Steve Jakiel. Expect
some comments from the coaches possibly next week on The Red Berenson
Show after they receive their signed letters of intent.

That's all for now...
