Botterill, Cammalleri named to TSN's All-Time Canadian World Junior
Championship Team
TSN.ca recently held a fan vote to name their All-Time Canadian World
Junior Championship Team. Thirteen forwards, seven defensemen, and two
goalies were picked, and two former Wolverines made the team.
Joining names such as Gretzky and Lindros were Jason Botterill and Mike
Cammalleri. Botterill received 8,327 votes, and Cammalleri racked up 9,580
ballots.
In the 27 year history of the tournament, Botterill is the only Canadian to
ever win three gold medals, doing so in 1994, '95, and '96. He netted two
goals and seven assists in his WJC career.
Cammalleri played in 2001 and 2002 and was an offensive force in leading
Canada to a bronze and silver finish. He finished his WJC career with 11
goals and 6 assists. He tallied seven of those points in one game in 2001,
and also has two career hat tricks. His 11 goals is second all-time among
Canadians behind Eric Lindros' 12.

That's all for now...
Go Blue!
