Just a quick update from work...
Michigan scored early and scored often to crush Boston University 7-2 and salvage their weekend at the Lefty McFadden Invitational.
Thirteen Wolverines registered a point led by Milan Gajic's two goals, and Jeff Tambellini's goal and pair of assists
Chad Kolarik got the ball rolling 1:54 into the contest on the power play, and Matt Hunwick made it 2-0 just a minute later.
Tambellini picked up his first goal of the season at 5:34, and Brandon Rogers made it 4-0 at 7:20.
In the second period, more of the same. Gajic made it 5-0 just 3:42 into the period. David Rohlfs scored 52 seconds later to make it 6-0. And Gajic scored his second of the game at 8:36.
Pete MacArthur ended Al Montoya's bid for a shutout with two late third period goals.
Montoya finished with 30 saves. Karson Gillespie started the game for the Terriers and gave up all 7 goals and made 12 stops. John Curry replaced him in net and also made 12 saves.

Michigan opens their home schedule with a big showdown against New Hampshire next Friday at Yost Ice Arena. Game time is 8:05pm ET and can be seen on CSTV.
