Michigan defeats Lake Superior State 5-1 tonight at Yost Ice Arena.
The game was tied 0-0 at the end of the first, then the Wolverines opened it up in the second period.
David Moss and Brandon Kaleniecki each scored two goals. Eric Nystrom netted the other Wolverine goal.
Jeff Rainville scored for the Lakers to break Al Montoya's shutout streak.
The weekend series wraps up tomorrow night.
