The Mike Comrie saga in Edmonton is over.
After having a deal with Anaheim hit a roadblock last week when Edmonton demanded he pay them $2.53 million before leaving, the Oilers have traded him to the Philadelphia Flyers.
In return the Oilers get defenseman Jeff Woywitka as well as a first-round pick in the 2004 NHL entry draft and a third-round pick in 2005.
Comrie remains unsigned, however, and the Flyers will have to hammer out a contract with him before he suits up.
