Quick update...

Michigan completes the weekend sweep of Northern Michigan with a 5-2 victory this afternoon at Yost Ice Arena.

David Moss and Andrew Ebbett each had a pair of goals. Jeff Tambellini tallied the other.

It was a tight contest through two periods with U-M leading 3-2. Following the game online, it seemed like a penalty-filled second period, especially for NMU. The Wolverines notched two goals in the third to pull away.

Scary moment from what I read that during the national anthem U-M assisant coach Billy Powers fainted. He was checked out and went back behind the bench, only to pass out again and rushed to the ER for testing. Apparently he is doing good, but no word on what caused it.\

The Wolverines continue the home stand next weekend with a nonconference series against Niagara.
