Not sure what all went down in Miami tonight since I'm at work, but I do know Michigan got SPANKED in the CCHA opener, 8-3.
The Wolverines were trailing 3-2 at the end of the 2nd period. Freshmen David Rohlfs and T.J. Hensick scored the goals. The RedHawks then exploded in the third period with five unanswered goals, resulting in Al Montoya being pulled in favor of Noah Ruden. Jeff Tambellini scored later in the third.
The two teams wrap up the weekend series tomorrow night.
