Blue-White Intrasquad, Skate with Team Set for Sept. 26

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Fans will get their first opportunity to see the
2003-04 University of Michigan ice hockey team at 7:35 p.m. Friday (Sept.
26) when the Dekers Blue Line Club hosts the annual Blue-White Intrasquad
Game, sponsored by the U-M Credit Union, at Yost Ice Arena. Immediately
following the contest, the annual Skate with the Wolverines will take
place, offering fans an opportunity to meet and get autographs from the
players.

Tickets for the Blue-White Intrasquad are $6 for adults and $3 for children
ages 12 and under. Michigan students can get tickets for $5 with a valid
M-Card. Advance tickets will be on sale online at MGoBlue.com until Friday
(Sept. 26) at 3 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the door. All
tickets are good for general admission, and proceeds from the event will
benefit the Michigan Hockey Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Following the Blue-White Intrasquad, fans will get a chance to meet and get
autographs from the Wolverines on the ice during the Skate with the
Wolverines. Skates will be required to go onto the ice, and the Yost Ice
Arena Skate Shop will offer skate rentals.

Michigan will host York University in an exhibition game on Friday, Oct. 3,
at 7:35 p.m. before officially opening its 82nd season of intercollegiate
competition on Saturday, Oct. 4, with a game against Mercyhurst at Yost.
