The final Central Scouting Bureau rankings were released yesterday.

Among North American skaters, forward Jeff Tambellini was the highest rated Wolverine at #21, while defenseman Danny Richmond was ranked #41. Incoming defensive recruit Tim Cook was ranked #101.

Center Eric Staal of the OHL\'s Peterborough Petes retained No. 1 spot in final draft rankings issued by NHL Central Scouting on Wednesday.

Right-winger Dustin Brown of the OHL\'s Guelph Storm remained No. 2 on the list of North American skaters.

Left-winger Thomas Vanek of the University of Minnesota was No. 3, centre Nathan Horton of the OHL\'s Oshawa Generals was No. 4 and centre Ryan Getzlaf of the WHL\'s Calgary Hitmen was No. 5.

The 2003 NHL Entry Draft will take place June 21-22 in Nashville.
