PRO NEWS
Former Wolverine Mike Komisarek was recalled by Montreal a few days
ago. The defenseman was called up after Habs defender Patrice Brisebois
went to the hospital due to chest pains just before a game. Komisarek has
been a healthy scratch the past two games. Seeing as it was a rather
unexpected call up, it won't surprise me if he doesn't get to play.
Former Wolverine Scott Matzka is on loan to Cleveland of the AHL. Matzka
has been playing for Atlantic City of the East Coast Hockey League. It's
his first call up to the AHL this season. With Atlantic City, Matzka had
scored 15 goals and 41 points in 37 games.
