EBBETT TO JOIN WOLVERINES THIS FALL

Finally, some good news!

With the departure of Mike Cammalleri to the pros freeing up a scholarship,
Salmon Arm center Andrew Ebbett, who committed for 2003, will now join the
Wolverines this fall.

Ebbett scored 45 goals and added 34 assists to lead the Silverbacks in his
rookie year. His play earned him the British Columbia Hockey League
Interior Division's Rookie of the Year award. He was expected to compete
for the BCHL scoring title, won this year by U-M recruit Jeff Tambellini,
had he returned to Salmon Arm in the fall

ALUMNI GAMES

Don't forget that the Alumni Games are tonight! The old-timers kick things
off at 4:30 p.m. (just over an hour from now). I'll be there with video
camera in hand and will hopefully have some highlights up this weekend for
those who aren't able to attend.

OLIVER SIGNS WITH DALLAS

The Dallas Stars have signed former Wolverine David Oliver to a one-year
contract. The 31-year-old right wing played for the Munich Barons of the
German Elite League last season. In 59 games he had 20 goals and 14 assists.
