Always on the lookout for ultralight dental care, my wife brought home a
pack of these to try out.

Haven't tried them yet but inside the box is a tiny ziplock with 20
packs of single use floss. 20 packs and the ziplock weigh 3.8 grams. My
regular floss in its plastic case weighs 16.4 grams. Can't wait to try
these out next week on my 2 week tour in the Sierra's. Will post back a
report.

It's light, yes, but dental floss serves as thread for repairing torn clothing bags, etc., so short pieces won't work well for that purpose. Emergency sutures...
