Hi Terriann,
I can't give you an ounce by ounce breakdown of my gear but I can
tell you that most of the Ultralight biking folks don't use trailers.
Nothing wrong with trailers, per-se, but most UL folks figure out
lighter ways to carry their stuff. I've got a list of my gear for
a roadtrip and some broad weights under the "Gear List" and
"Statistics" pages here:

If the John Wayne Pioneer Trail you are talking about is the
one in Washington State also known as the Iron Horse trail,
you may find this page useful:

I rode the Iron Horse/John Wayne Trail as far east as Cle Elum
when I rode out to Montana for the 2005 Great Divide Mountain
Bike Race, so I can fill you in on that section of the route.
For lightweight offroad trips, the guys racing the GDR have
some pretty darn light, dialed in set-ups. Everybody keeps
their exact equipment lists kinda quiet but you can see some
pics from this year's racers here:
http://www.adventurecycling.org/gdrgallery/
And if you want you can follow the race online here:
http://www.greatdividerace.com/
Finally, my story and pics from the '05 race are here:
http://www.mile43.com/peterson/Turtle/MountainTurtle.html
Some of the pictures might give you some good gear ideas.
Figuring out your own equipment mix is at least half the
fun of this!
Good luck,
