I find my goretex jacket to be overkill when bicycle riding. On group
ride, i use a wind jacket (in fact only front is windproof). On
touring trip, i bring a water repellent wind jacket. It is enough
since with a more waterproof jacket i get wet inside anyway.
They can be found cheaply. I don't remember exactly but i think of O2
jacket or something.
