Jim and I split our blog into two different blogs, to make it easier
for others who are planning their own GDR rides.

gdr07.blogspot.com is a chronicle of our trip - probably not very
interesting unless you know us and care about our trip in particular.

gdrAdvice.blogspot.com is a collection of notes and/or advice that
might help somebody who is planning a trip. In this blog, we
described our approach and the decisions we made and what we might do
differently next time.

One of the sections in gdrAdvice blog is about timing. We don't have
a lot of confidence in our guesses about 1) timing of mosquito season,
or 2) how late into September/October can you reliably cross Indiana
pass - in other words, when does the snow that falls stay for the
duration of the winter? Maybe Gary, or others who know the area well,
can shed light on those issues.
