It's over two weeks away but preliminary Terminus pools are up. You can be almost certain that things will change though. As it is now though, we will have our chance for revenge on Emory...bitches.

Hey everyone, This is it. Shane and I are officially on the road to Seattle. We are in TN at the moment and will be sleeping in St. Louis tonight to go to the St. Louis Zoo tomorrow after we go to Mammoth Caverns today. We have started a trip blog that we will update daily with where we are and pictures of the mayhem. http://shaneandlisa.wordpress.com
Hey kids,
Michigan is going to be bringing some heat this year so I wanted to
give you a heads up on what they've got.
First off they are a weak team mentally. Bring alot of energy into the
game and keep them on their heels and they will flat out go away. The
more mistakes you make them make and make them second guess
themselves, the faster they will fold.
Their game starts with the pulls. Will Neff #7 is going to pull it to
the back of the end zone every time, and right as you catch it, the
defense will be set up. Get ready to move it fast right away and give
lots of help to the handlers off the start.
They lost some major talent handling as Ryan Purcell just graduated.
They will be weaker at handler but not all that weak. Their handlers
know what they are doing but are still either new or new at getting
playing time. That would be a good place to start weakening their
offense. 16, 11, 18, and probably 7 will be doing most of the handling.
Their cutters are strong and will take some good defense. With the
best being 13, 40, 14. also strong but out 25 is injured
This is a good team but not nearly as strong as their nationals squad
from spring. You guys should be fine as long as you come in the game
with a lot of energy and take them out of it mentally.
If you need anything else, let me know
Shipps
We are trying to, but hard to get women to come out consistently.

In case you haven't heard: http://www.cultimate.com/conference1/
This is the "next level" that I was talking about. I also wanted you guys to know that UCF was on the radar for getting in. UNC-W got the look because they graduated less impacting players. If this was launched last year, we would have been asked to join. That should tell you that we can do it again. All you rookies, playing A team for the second year, now know what it takes. Hit the track/gym hard and listen to what Bill and Matt have to say. Recruit hard, since the weight of the program is heavier that the weight of the team. If you can keep adding numbers like we did last year, you can have a program that consistently makes contenders like UNC or UGA.

Does anyone have a xs or s patagonia jersey from this past year?
Layuma is ordering Patagonia stuff and I'm trying to decide if I want a
guys or a girls jersey. If you have one, please let me know so that I
can hook up with you and try it on.
Thanks!!!

Hey Ya'll,
I was wondering if any of you had Shane and I's air mattress/sleeping
bag. I was thinking that I lent it to someone, but I can't remember
who. It would be awesome to get it back ASAP.
Thanks!
Lisa
When are tryouts?
Tryouts are not technically until November and will consist of our
home tournament (4th Annual Kennel Kickoff) as well as a mini-camp
weekend. However, I would recommend coming to all practices that you
can make during the fall semester. The more you play, the better you
get. Always run and throw when you're not practicing.
The exact dates for tryouts won't be known until August or September.

When are tryouts?
Hey Dogs,
Matt Branch here...haven't had the chance to play any ultimate in quite
a while with you guys. A buddy of mine over here on the coast is putting
this hatter together that Shane mentioned. It'd be great to see all of
you that are still around Orlando come play some ultimate. Hope you're
having a great summer, and I'll look forward to seeing some of ya on the
19th. http://www.dischatter.com/

Joe Tilley is right. You need play ultimate, as much as you can, this
summer with the best people that you can find. If you are in the
Orlando area I strongly recommend you start coming out and playing
Tuesday/Thursday here at UCF. That way you can get to know some of the
guys that will be here next year and get a feel for the college level
game.
As far as what you can do on your own, throw, run, throw, run, throw,
and run some more. Go out and run 3-4 miles 3 times a week and throw
everyday if you can.
As a former captain of the A team I feel that is your best bet for
making your upcoming college season the best it can be.
Good Luck,
Cameron

Also nobody doesn't make the B-team everyone who wants to try out for the A-team goes out for it and those who don't make it/ don't think they are up for the commitment gets to play with the B-team

It's hard to answer those questions. It depends on who all comes out
to tryouts. If you want to make the A team, try to play ultimate over
the summer. We are setting up a club team. Go out for that. It will
help you the most. If you can't find any good ultimate to play, stay
in good shape. Ultimate is very demanding sport and if you are in
good shape it will help a lot.
