Hello all, early this morning I had the surgery for my shoulder.
First they put the "block" on me which is a shot to the neck that
completely numbs the nerves on the left side of my torso for 60
hours. During surgery they reattached the inferior glenohumeral
ligament (i have pictures from the scope of the tear and the repair)
and attached a capsule inserted to the humerous. They then shaved the
bone so that new bone will form around the repaired ligaments.
Apparently I have advised to start rehab this coming week, which I am
told will be harder than I thought. It will be 4 weeks until i can
lose The UltraSling II... its huge. It will also be around 4 months
till I can start doing light training and six months till I can play
contact sports. But most importantly I am not to do anything besides
rehab. So thanks to all that made sure I didnt do something stupid,
which of course I am known for to a lot.
I will see you guys on tuesday and be sure to make it to this meeting
if you are serious about playing this year. We our looking to make
this OUR season, this is OUR time to shine! Gametime IS Paintime
baby! wooooooooo!!!!
