hey all

 

tonight is a most beautiful night    the nicest weather i have experienced in a long time 

 

i though i would try to share it

 

i hope all is well in your world with happiness and love

 

 

the breeze forgot to come tonight,

like the harshness in a child's eye.

playing on the spring flowers

and a want to meet another's eye.

 

slowly do our lives slink by

in the orange lamplight of this stillness.

night insects float by on an unencumbered journey

while homeless dogs lay with heavy sigh.

 

when the breeze does come it is slow and thoughtless,

it forces nothing upon those who feel it.

one silent star sits between the clouds

with one last breath death could come by

 

my soul is stretching its wings,

they fan out like the far widths of the ocean.

and i can not help but smile

because for one instant i am free

 

i find it a bit sad that it is so hard to explain to others our true feelings,  we get involved in this game and it becomes a bad habit, because we play so seriously.
