Adirondack IceHawks Press Release
Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack IceHawks, proud members of the
United Hockey League (UHL), announced today the signing of Veteran
Defenseman Scott Drevitch. Per club policy, terms of the agreement
were not released.
Dretvich spent the 2002-2003 season with the Port Huron Beacons,
where he tallied thirteen goals and fifty assists for a total of
sixty-three points in seventy five games. During his fifteen year
professional hockey career Drevitch has been the recipient of many
honors and awards. Some of those honors include being a part of three
championship hockey teams, being named most outstanding defenseman in
the WCHL in 1998-1999 and was voted the best defensive player for the
Beacons last season.
"Scott is a valuable addition to our hockey club. Not only is he a
good two-way defenseman and a point producer, he also brings
tremendous leadership qualities to our dressing room," said IceHawks
President/ General Manager Art Shaver.
