The Elmira Jackals of the United Hockey League announced today the
signing of their 12th player for the upcoming 2003-2004 season ---
Carl Drakensjo.

Last year with the Anchorage Aces of the WCHL, Drakensjo played in 72
games and recorded 18 goals and 29 assists for 47 points.

"Drak's relentless work ethic was missed last year," stated Jackals
Head Coach Todd Brost. "We welcome him back to Elmira for his third
season here and our quest for the Colonial Cup. I'll be counting on
his leadership this season."

In 106 games played with the Jackals, Drakensjo has 15 goals and 35
assists for 54 total points.

The Jackals open the regular season on Friday, October 24th vs.
Richmond. The Jackals will have a home pre-season game on Sunday,
October 19th versus Adirondack at 4 pm.
