2C%20Blyth%20sign%20deals%20to%20return%20to%20River%20Otters
The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League have signed
their first three players for the 2003-2004 season.
Goaltender Brian Regan and forward Charlie Blyth will return for
their fourth seasons with the club. The team also added 26-year-old
defenseman Ryan Gillis.
Regan, a former league MVP, was 29-15-7 with a 2.59 goals-against
average and a .911 save percentage last year while Blyth had career
highs in games (76), goals (24), assists (20) and penalty minutes
(72).
Gillis (6-foot-1, 209) is entering his eighth professional season. He
spent most of last season with Wheeling of the East Coast Hockey
League.
