Newson and Boone instigated some trouble in the
second, although I think it was more Boone then
Newson. In any case, it erupted into a nice fight
with Cole, Nehrling and Deschatelets throwing down for
the Hawks and Spiller getting involved for the Knights
to even things up. Lee was looking for trouble all
night though.
Ray Fraser was a total sieve in net for the Knights.
Of course, I like it that way. Person kicked out 38
shots for the win, while Fraser looked shell shocked
after looking at just twenty IceHawks scoring chances.
Dominic Chiasson was THE MAN though, getting the
Hawks a hat trick and leading the team to a 6-4
victory over the hated Knights.
Hopefully the Hawks got some pictures of the fights to
put up on their website!
The Hawks head over to Elmira for a look at the
Jackals on Thursday night, which I'm sure will be
another fight fest. Too bad I won't get to see it.
We need one more game to get to the .500 mark but
something tells me, the Jackals are gonna be in a
fiesty mood and won't let us win that easily.
Aftwards we're back at the Hawks' Nest to host...guess
who?
You've got it! B.C. on Friday and New Haven on
Saturday! Actually, except for one game against the
Dragons the only teams we face for the next two months
are the Jacks, New Haven, and the Icemen.
The Game on Saturday against the Knights is another
Pack the House night with the Family Four Pack
discount in effect. If any of our neighbors in the
Elm City want to come over for a game this year, it's
a great night to do so. Four tickets, dogs and sodas
for only $34.00.
