I think it's more a case of liking Idaho's coach. Allison won the Taylor
Cup with Tacoma in the WCHL in 1999, and I believe got WCHL MVP. John
Olver, the coach of Tacoma that year, is now coaching the Idaho Steelheads,
and coaches a highly developed trap that allows Allison to see _very_
little rubber. Given that Olver's performance in Idaho has been very
similar to his style in Tacoma (and earlier Fresno), Allison probably knows
what style of play he'll have in front of him, and figures that he would
like to see that little rubber :)
