I was in QC for game one of the Finals Friday night which QC won 3-2, and I was wondering if anyone else on this list was there. If you were, what were your thoughts? I've been to just enough Mallards games to wonder if anyone can compete with that team, and FINALLY, I saw some hope with Asheville Friday night. Usually when QC plays, they dictate the physical play, and when the opponent gets their mind off the game and into retaliation, the Mallards take advantage and win. Friday night was chippy, but a close game. I'm hoping this one goes six or seven. Asheville dictated the physical play Friday night, but didn't do much offensively, and their power play was terrible. This is a series to watch. I think it's kind of funny to see traditional Mallard bullies Mark McFarlane and Gary Gulash act like victims because of Asheville's play, and plead with referee (bwahahaha!) George Harrison for a call. Even Mallards GM Howard Cornholio..err Cornfield was pleading his team's case. I don't care who wins this series, but it's nice to think this finals series might be good. We'll see what happens in game two tonight. No more sweeps!
Thanks for listening!
