Hey guys,

I got the following from James about his kick on the
ball last Saturday. He believes that kick was NOT an
intentional one.

So, how about the following suggestions?

1, Do not yell out a call unless you are sure of the
rule you are going to refer to.

2, If possible, take several minutes to learn some
basic rules. This one is especially useful for those
who frequently called "being fouled".

Just try to avoid unnecessary "fight" and improve our
game quality in the future.

Cheers,
Cai

You know I don't usually argue in pickup basketball
games, but sometimes I know I'm right...
Section 6. Travel, Kick, Fist, Through Basket from
Below

Art. 1. A player shall not travel or run with the
ball, intentionally kick it, strike it with the fist
or cause it to enter and pass through the basket from
below.

-James

About the kicking rule, This is what I was taught when I was in high school: When your feet are moving, nobody can tell it is intentional or not. So the...

LiGuo, "nobody can tell whether it is intentional or not", is this your serious argument? The one who kicks will be able to tell !!! Even further, anyone can...
