Hey,

We (Diesel and Rho) are guaging interest for a competitive coed team to play in the upcoming UPA coed series. We are putting together a team of hard working individuals that are willing to practice twice a week, participate in a track workout once a week, and travel to tournaments - within California for non-series events, and to Sectionals and Regionals.

Please email us if you are interested. This will help us get an idea of how the team will look.

Practices will start in mid-April and run weekly through Regionals in September. You can assume that practices will be held in West LA (fields/times TBD).

Please let us know by March 31. If you have any questions, please contact us.

   I lost my entire pillow (pillowcase and its contents) last quarter at some
point during the SC Sean Ryan tournament.  I was in Slavia's car, but maybe
someone else grabbed my pillow and have been snuggling the wonderfully fluffed
IKEA blue, green, yellow-leafed thing since then.  The leaves on the thing look

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the warm wishes and all
your help so far! I wanted to let everyone know that my surgery went
very well and I'm actually doing really good; I'm not in too much
pain, the percocet is definitely helping with that! :) A lot of people
have been asking if I need anything or what they can do to help and
basically I just need company because I'm going to be stuck in my bed
for a few days and having the attention span of a 9 year old doesn't
help. If you find yourself with nothing to do come hang out with me, I
have guitar hero ;) Or you could just pop in to say hi, I miss
everyone already since I won't be able to see you guys at practice
(and Midas that have their track workouts tonight, good luck with
Snurtz, I wish I could be there to cheer you guys on). So I live in

or whatever if you don't feel like just showing up (which is perfectly

	 I am wondering if anyone has a basketball ticket for the game on
Feb. 21.  My cousin is coming up to visit and I would love to take
her to the game, and if anyone is doing Dance Marathon or just can't
go... Don't waste it!   The catch:  I think I would have to borrow
your Bruincard because I already have a ticket so it couldn't be
transferred to mine, and we'll have to pretend my cousin is a Bruin.
Let me know if you are interested in this terrific deal (for me and
my cousin)!  Everybody offers payment in various forms at the end of
these emails, so here are my tricks:  I could give you a lap-dance,

First of all, hello from the Antarctica!  I miss your smiling faces,

Anyway, I am involved with a UPA committee that has been working hard
on improving the college Ultimate competition structure in order to
meet the needs of teams of all levels.  A survey was just posted by
the committee on www.upa.org (there is a link in the first paragraph

bay area blu/midas/vets/rookies on break. come to berkeley this sunday (12/21) to run around play some goaltimate. what the heck is goaltimate, you might ask? it's a little bit like hotbox, if you've played that at practice, but instead of a box, you throw it through a large arch to a teammate to score. sounds weird, but it's fun. and word on the street is that kix might make her goaltimate debut!

hope everyones finals are going well!! we were emailing because we're trying to get a tally on final expenses for the fall/ reimburse everyone as efficiently as possible. from now on we will be submitting most receipts into club sports for reimbursements, which basically means you will have to wait a little longer to get your reimbursement. we're making a trip into the office this thursday to turn in any receipts. if you want to get yours in and processed before the break, drop it by our room in dykstra-302. if you cant make it over here/ dont care if it gets in before the break if you could at the very least email me with the totals on your receipts that would be awesome. my phone number is (925) 683-8682 if you want to come drop any receipts off, either orlando or myself will probably be in here...

speaking of lost items, after all of the fleece switching fun of sean ryan, I ended up without mine. I am very sad about this, so if anyone happens to have two, I would be eternally grateful! Mine was an XS. I also ended up with someones sleeping pad (I think that's what it is) in my trunk after San Diego. I shuffled a lot of people in and out of my car at various points throughout the weekend and have no idea who this belongs to.

Now that everyone has had (almost) a quarter of ultimate in, it's time to go out in the world and put those skills to use!

Here is a list of games to play in, I can't vouch for their accuracy. Also games might be canceled based on Thanksgiving/Christmas attendance. You can try to contact the organizer and see if they know: http://upa.org/pickup

Another place to check is your local rec League's site for pickup games (ex: http://sful.org or http://laout.org/).

If you have any questions about a particular city or are completely lost and really want to play ultimate, let me know and I'll try to ask around.
