I got a race licence last night and they advised me
that the application forms have changed.

I have a copy of the new form (which looks very
similar to the old one) so will scan it and upload it
or send to Wolfi for distribution.  I will also get
the text translated so the non-arabic readers know
what to fill in.

Please note that due to feedback from many riders there has been a change of
route
for the ride previously advertised as being Abu Dhabi to Dubai and Dubai to Abu
Dhabi.
The new route we hope you will find much more challenging and of course a lot
more
scenic. We hope it will encourage more people to join the ride and enjoy a great
day
of cycling.
I appreciate any feedback, interest or comments as soon as possible to finalise
all
aspects of the ride including transport and food and beverages. It is vital we
know
numbers to secure enough for everyone.

As many of the races (particularly triathlons) are
getting cancelled, I was planning to arrange informal
time trials at either Academic city and/or Jazira.
Very basic- line on road, no traffic control, self
timed and then just fill your time on a board etc.  Do
you reckon there would be interest?

Be great to have you on board Paul. It is only a matter of a few hours to get the license, Wolfi has the contacts the entry form in English and Pete can direct you where to go. You do need a doctor to endorse it though.

Twas me at the Jazira event, it was a blur for me and I was spectating!

Be great to have you on board Paul. It is only a matter of a few hours to get the license, Wolfi has the contacts the entry form in English and Pete can direct you where to go. You do need a doctor to endorse it though.
