Hello All,
We are organizing a Family Friday brunch after the Ride on 2nd
June 2006.
We found a very special place for healthy and yummy food called The
Organic Food and Café in Satwa.
All the products they serve are from organic ingredients and it
tastes really great and they give more power for the next ride.
See the link for the location http://www.organicfoodsandcafe.com/locations.htm
Please let me know if you like to join us as we have to make a reservation before the Wednesday 31 May 2006.
The price for the brunch is 75 Dirham per person incl. Coffee, Tea
and Juices. Kids 35 Dirham below 3 years they eat for free
I would like to mention something about the Sunday and Tuesday
Evening rides.
If the faster riders approach the slow riders they should pass them
only on the left leaving the slower riders on the right. They should make the
riders aware that they are coming from behind to avoid a collision especially
in and after the roundabouts. Keep a good distance while you are overtaking and
watch the traffic from behind.
Please ride respectful and predictable to make it a fun ride for all
of us.
Many thanks to
our SUPPORT DRIVERS last week – Peter, Willem + Family and especially Uwe
for driving more then 10 times already. It is very much appreciated by the
whole group.
Thanks enjoy your training

Just how far in front was Ullrich?
Following
the conclusion of the time trial in Pontedera, the Giro organizers published
some interesting figures on just how far in front stage winner Jan Ullrich was
from the rest. We know his 58 minutes and 48 seconds equated to an average
speed of 51.02 kilometers an hour, but relatively speaking, how far behind were
his rivals?

During the
Coast to Coast ride Francesca and Andy organized some nice pictures of the
riders.
We have an
album in the shop and you can have a look at the pictures and order them if you
like.
The price per picture
is 5 Dirham and we will use the profit to organize some more safety equipment
for our Friday rides like flashing lights and
first aid kits.

few understand." -- Jim Burlant
Please see the EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM
which you can print and keep it on your bike (maybe in your saddle back) so
that we
know who to contact in case of an
accident, and who you are insured with.
You can send us a copy as well which
we will keep in the support car.
The Last week of the GIRO ITALIA HAS
