As most of you know, unfortunately, we now need to find our own transportation out to WVU.  6 folks can ride out with Georgia.

 

MEET to LEAVE BURDICK by 5:30AM!  If you're not there, too bad....your loss.  It's roughly a 4 1/2 hour ride out. 

 

Do not start experimenting with directions...stay together....I don't want to see half the team showing up at kickoff.  You are going to need over an hour to get rid of your ride legs, get booted, and warm-up.  First kickoff is 10:50 sharp.

 

There is no playoff...we win the three matches and we walk home with the championship trophy.  You are the best team in this pool.....prove it!

 

DIRECTIONS

695 West to Interstate 70 WEST (for 91 miles)

 

Exit 1A to merge onto Interstate 68 WEST/US 40 WEST (towards Cumberland)

You're on I-68 for 105 miles

 

Exit 7 (WV-705/Pierpont Rd), RIGHT of exit onto Cheat Rd

 

Go 1 mile, (at the bottom of the hill) LEFT onto Mileground Rd/US-119...don't drive off the side of the hill on Mileground....and if you're scared of heights, don't look down  ;)

Go 1.4 miles, RIGHT onto WV-705

2.3 miles, LEFT at Van Voorhis Rd/WV-705

Continue to follow WV-705 (will turn into Patteson Dr)

After 0.9 mile, LEFT at Riverview Dr (there is a white building on the corner and it's just after a supermarket and some kind of fast-food place)

Immediate LEFT on to Rec Center Dr

Immediate LEFT onto Birch St

There is a parking lot on Birch.  You should see the fields at the top of the hill.  Come over an set up somewhat close to where my stand will be set.

 

Ladies, let's get out there and prove we are one of the best teams in the country.  Play hard, kick some *ss, and drink out of our first place trophy (which, if I know Niles well enough, will be a gold painted boot).
