A PDGA rule some need to be aware of   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

Just a general FYI:

As I recently became a PDGA certified official, I have to bring this up
to save potential heartache when you guys travel. I witnessed several
people doing the "flip thrown disc for a marker" thing this weekend but
I bit my tongue out of respect. This action is not legal in a PDGA
tourney and can get you a stroke per violation after an initial warning.

Reference rule 803.03:

Bottom line, always carry a mini in PDGA events! :)

On a side note, any of you guys who are full members of DGB and PDGA-
current can take the official's test free of charge through the club
should you want to sanction more PDGA events at Bowers. Just get in
touch.
