I think if I were you, I might think about
looking into a local ProFarm category. It's a lot cheaper
than SuperFarm, and it's a great way to get into
pulling. There are a couple guys around here that used to
pull Farmall 460s and 560s. You're limited in fuel
pump size, turbo size, injector size, and a few other
things, but you can always put the tractor on a serious
diet and get it competitive. I'm not sure if Missouri
has many ProFarm categories. They sometimes call them
Hot Stock, if that's any help. The cost is low enough
that you can afford to run the series, yet there's
enough technology to keep things interesting. Good
category. Someday I'd like to build one. Take care.
