Hi pull fanatic's i have been pulling in Ontario,
Canada for 1.5 seasons in the local class stock 4x4
trucks 5500-6000 lbs class. I have a 1979 Chevrolet P/U
short box which weighs 5950lbs with added weight. It
has a 350CI gas motor with Rodchester 4MV carb,
Manual 4speed trans and gear to gear Transfer case.
Power goes out through 3:73 rear ends (both ends
locked)and 33x12 15 BFG Mud Terrains. I am thinking about
putting more torque ahead of the transmission via a 427CI
motor from a 1975 5 ton truck. The question,
Is
this worth the extra work.

Take
