Dan and thumb sledand sled rules

Yes, Dan is the best sled setter i have ever seen
on these pulling tapes and circuts. It is too bad
that Thumb Truck wants to get out of it and sell all
three sleds.

I believe that I read that in the
NGTPA rules, correct me if I am misplaced on this, that
the sled musthave operable brakes and must be able to
stop the tractor. If the sled had brakes, (IT SHOULD
OF HAD BRAKES!!!!!!) then the Walsh tractor would of
never gone through the barriers but it might of hit the
first one and stopped.

It is too bad that the
Wolverene pullers doesn't buy the #14 sled and hire Dan to
run it. It would be a great asset to the
organization. The #8 is a good sled too but the 14 is better
engineered. I am not to impressed with the chain drive, but I
guess that the chain could be easily changed than a
transmission at the pull.

I am gonna build a
Gardentractor sled sometime in the near future. I might even
use the chain drive idea.

The owner and
operator of the sled at Ft. Recovery should never and ever
own a sled or operate a sled again with that
stupidity.
